Must-Do Activity
Put the top down and soak up the best views in the park! The Arches Scenic Drive is 36 round-trip miles of pure desert delight dotted with scenic viewpoints that will take your breath away.
Off the Beaten Path
Canyoneering—an adventure sport that involves repelling deep into canyons—is not for the faint of heart. If you're up for a challenge, and you have the skills, head to Fiery Furnace or Lost Spring Canyon to experience the adventure of a lifetime.
Insider's Tip
The early bird gets the worm during the park's busiest months of the year: May through October. Enter the park before the day breaks to beat the crowds (and the heat) or consider a late afternoon visit. The La Sal Mountains viewpoint is exceptionally beautiful at sunset, so grab someone you love and stay awhile.
